How not to pitch into broadcast

Have you ever watched the news and wondered why a story made it on when yours didn’t? Have you kicked yourself because you had a better angle or spokesperson but they were turned down?

Engaging the broadcast media is very different to print. Too often PRs fail to pitch effectively and make it on air. In this brand new seminar by Redleaf, two ex-broadcasters will reveal the common mistakes that PRs make and how you can avoid them.

During the seminar, we will cover:

  • How the broadcast media works and how it is different to print and online
  • The common mistakes that PRs make and how you can avoid them
  • What producers really want from PRs
  • How to select the right programme for your story
  • How to pitch your brand effectively and get it on the air
