Building brands in the Private Rented Sector

Redleaf Breakfast Roundtable

Renting was once often considered a temporary solution for students and young professionals, but people are now spending an average of 12 years in rented accommodation.

Developers and investors are responding to this through a growing number of build-to-rent schemes. But as people’s attitudes towards rented living have evolved, so has the private rented sector.

This roundtable event will aim to explore themes such as:

  • Why is a strong brand important for a PRS scheme?
  • What roles do architecture, marketing and ongoing management play in building a brand in this sector and what is the relative importance of each?
  • Are people living in PRS schemes because they have to or because they want to?
  • What's the market demographic for PRS schemes generally and how do you engage with the relevant audience?
  • What’s happening in the sector that is particularly innovative?
