Jonathan Akerman

Account Director, Financial Services

Jonathan is the account director of Redleaf's well-established financial services division, specialising in powerful corporate communications and media campaigns for a range of retail and institutional finance and insurance companies, including Halifax Share Dealing Limited, Alwen Hough Johnson and Besso Group, among others.

Jonathan has 10 years' PR and media relations experience, with five years in retail financial services, most recently heading up the media relations team at National Savings and Investments where he was responsible for helping turn round the negative image of the organisation and successfully building the positive name of the brand in the media. He has PR experience in the motor industry and the NHS, and is a qualified journalist.
