Silvano Giraldin

Non Executive Director

Legendary Maitre D’, Silvano Giraldin, who for 37 years managed Le Gavroche on behalf of the Roux Brothers and Michel Roux Jnr joined the Board of Redleaf Communications as a Non Executive Director in November 2008.

Although he retired from full time employment at Le Gavroche in July 2008, he remains a Director of the Michelin starred restaurant. He is also on the Management Board of the Academy of Culinary Arts and is Senior Consultant to the Albert Roux Consultancy where he is responsible for reviewing a wide range of activities across the Roux portfolio including all wine lists, front of house, and staff training.

Able to speak five languages fluently and with a legendary ability to make people feel relaxed, Silvano has welcomed guests from all echelons of society from across the globe and is a key member of the Redleaf team.
